He graduated from Shiloh High School and went on to attend Georgia State University. He received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu.
Jason dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and was affiliated with New Bethel AME Church in Lithonia, GA.
He loved his family, food, and music. From cooking to DJing, Jason sought to live a passionate life on his own terms.
Jason was a dedicated father, son, and sibling who is deeply loved.
He is survived by five children: Jaylen Richey, Renee Richey, Aree Richey, Mariah Richey, and Elijah Richey, his fiancée and life partner Dekesha Rhyan, his parents, and three siblings: Tequalia Curley (Garland Sr.), Gary Richey Jr. (Tiya), and Kimberly Richey. He also leaves several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Niece and Nephews. Jason will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is gone from our presence, but never from our hearts.
