Arthur Jay Dewick, Jr., 93, of Snellville, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Arthur was born on May 6, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Arthur and Ruth Dewick. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 21 years of service. Following his military career, Mr.. Dewick retired from the United States Post Office after 20 years of service and followed that with 15 years at Lazermatic. He was a member of First Christian Church of Huntington Beach, where he was a very active member and did handyman work for church members who needed help. Arthur and his wife Ruth were also very active in their community, enjoying swing dancing and always present at any community function. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Ruth Laurich Dewick,his daughters Patricia Loomis and husband Rick of Snellville, Pamela Martin and husband Tom of Riverside, CA and Peggy Menikheim and husband Greg of Wichita Falls, TX, nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
