He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Isabel Faldyn, Vlasta Vaclavic, brothers, George, Wilbert, and Joe Faldyn; sister-in-law, Ruby Faldyn and brother-in-law Joe Vaclavik.
Surviving Johnie, are his only son Robert Lee Faldyn and his wife Kristina of Smithville, Texas. He is also survived by his brothers, Allen Faldyn of LaGrange, Jerry Faldyn and his wife Vlasta of Columbus, Edward Faldyn and his wife Helen of Columbus; sisters, Georgia and her husband Joe Belota of Plum, Lillian and her husband Morris Zapalec of Ellinger; Sisters-in-law, Virginia Faldyn of Frelsberg, Francis Faldyn of Brenham; and many nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be 9:30 am with Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00am Wednesday the 16th of March at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Smithville, Texas. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, Texas.
