He was born December 22, 1919 in Hartland, Maine, the son of Fred Hart and Inez (Deering) Hart.
Albert was educated at the Hartland Academy. He then served in the United States Army during World War II.
He worked for Rohm and Haas Chemical Company as a chemical operator for over 30 years in Bristol, PA.
For many years, Albert was a member and past master of the Masonic Lodge#107 in Beverly, New Jersey. A member of the volunteer fire department in Beverly, NJ, and founding member of the Engine Company #1 emergency squad, a member of the Air Stream Club in NJ, a founding member of the Demolay Rifle Team for the Masonic Lodge #107 in Beverly, NJ.
He liked working in the woods, an avid bird carver, he loved his John Deere tractor and he especially loved the time he spent with his family and his dog “JJ”.
Besides his wife Arleen Hart of 68 years of Norridgewock, he leaves his son, Allan Hart and his wife Sarah of Canaan, brother Bernard Hart of Madison, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Leon, Linwood, Dwynell, James, sisters, Lillian, Elizabeth and Margaret.
Viewing hours will be held on Monday September 14, 2015 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home and the burial will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Hartland following the service.
