On December 9, 2024, Dr. H. Lyndon Marter, M.B., CH.B., FACS, age 86, passed away in his home in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, and respected surgeon; pre-deceased by his wife, Nancy. He is survived by his life partner, two sons and one daughter, seven grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of family and friends that he loved and mentored. He lived life on his terms, always caring for others.
Celebration services are pending. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center (previously known as Washington Adventist Hospital) where he was born and served faithfully in many roles through 2023.
