Steve Peters

He was born December 27, 1951 in Sikeston, MO. to the late John and Mabel Woods Peters.

He was a member of Bertrand First Baptist Church in Bertrand, MO.; Steven worked at Medlin Equipment Company in Sikeston, MO. until his retirement.

On April 26, 1975 in Charleston, MO., he married Susan Sutherland Peters, who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

Other survivors include: two sons, Hudson Peters and Carson Peters both of the home; five brothers, Mike Peters of Charleston, MO., Jerry Peters of Benton, MO., David Peters of Bertrand, MO., Rick Peters of Mattoon, IL. and Larry Peters of Bement, MO.; two sisters, Dianne Babb of Charleston, MO. and Donna Peters of Bertrand, MO.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Peters Jr.; three sisters, Barbara Miller, Dorothy Elser and Betty Crook.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Bro. Glen Cantrell pastor of Community Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO., officiating.

Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Scott Peters, Brent Peters, Phil DeWitt, Gary DeWitt, Andy McGill, Daniel Babb, Richard Rolwing and Brad Hequembourg.
