Ruth Holman

Born September 11, 1929, in Jerusalem, Arkansas to the late Paul and Cleo Beavers Ruff. She retired from Sikeston Health Care after thirty years of employment; she was a member of Eastside Nazarene Church in Sikeston, MO.

On December 23, 1948, in Piggott, Arkansas, she married J.R. Holman, who preceded her in death on September 26, 2012.

Survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-law, Tim and Rita Holman of Miner, Mo., William and Ruth Holman of Jackson, MO.; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Mike Murphy of Sikeston, MO.; two brothers, Elbert Ruff and Bill Ruff of Sikeston, MO.; two sisters, Alma Curry of Sikeston, MO., Reba McDonnold of Blodgett, MO.; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Holman Sr.; three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Rev. Dale Fish and Melissa McDowell, officiating.

Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Holman, Shawn Murphy, Jason Holman, Steve Holman, Aaron Murphy, Daniel Holman; Honorary Pallbearers: will be Tim Holman, Tyler Holman, Dustin Holman, Joshua Holman.
