Roger Lofton

He was born on January 23, 1965 in New Madrid County to the late Rudy and Virginia Hicks Lofton.

On February 26, 1983 in Sikeston, MO. he married Shelia Summers Lofton who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two biological children, Elizabeth (Aaron) Johnson of Sikeston, MO. and Tricia Lofton of Sikeston, MO.; four children, Larry (April) Lofton of Sikeston, MO., Billy (Tanya) Lofton of Sikeston, MO., Adam (Tiffany) Lofton of Sikeston, MO. and Jamie (J.R.) Jackson of Morehouse, MO.; one brother, Garry Lofton of Dexter, MO.; two sisters, Peggy Foster of East Prairie, MO. and Ruby Moore of Sikeston, MO.; fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Terry Lofton, Larry Lofton Sr. and Rudy Jr. Lofton; one brother-in law, David Foster; two sisters, Lela Rachal and Helen Lofton; two nephews, Lawrence Gates and Robert Smith; and one niece, Candi Cook.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Brent Horton, Pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO., officiating.

Interment will follow in the Summers Family Cemetery on the farm in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Johnson, Larry Lofton Jr., Billy Lofton, Adam Lofton, Elijah Lofton and Trey Lofton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eli Liverett, Levi Johnson, Colton Lofton and Cooper Lofton.
