Laura Ford

Born January 30, 1928, in Crowder Mo., to the late James Olsie and Cora Scarbrough Waltrip. She was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. She had worked at the Kiddie College in Sikeston for fifteen years.

On November 9, 1946, she married Henry Edsel Ford, who preceded her in death on July 20, 1963.

Survivors include: one son, Tony Ford of Sikeston Mo.; one daughter, Phyllis Ford of Oklahoma City Ok.; two granddaughters, Leslie Limbaugh of Oklahoma City Ok., Kara Ford Woods of Sikeston Mo.; one great grandson, Andrew Limbaugh of Oklahoma City Ok.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter Judy Ford; three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2016 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00pm, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Tom McCanless of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston Mo.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Limbaugh, Dan Lloyd, Jim Harrell, Bill Waltrip, Joey Presley and Brian Dover.
