She was born on May 29, 1948, in Pekin, IL to the late Harold and Cuma Walls Chism.
On November 5, 1966, in Sikeston, MO she married John Netteler who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.
She was a member of the Miner Baptist Church. She loved puzzles, crafting and making quilts for her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Melissa Bedwell of Risco, MO, Sara Avery of Sikeston, MO and Marti (Randy) Neider of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Dianna (Dean) Prine of Forest City, IL; eight grandchildren, Corey (Heather) Bedwell, Jacob Tumbleson, Brandy Bedwell (Tim Godlove), Kayla (Jeremy) Dalton, Nehemiah Williams, Reid Avery, Michaella Neider and Laurel Neider; three great grandchildren, Lauren Sweet, Amelia Dalton and Baker Godlove and Nixa, her special cat.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Chism.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with Bro. Frank Worthington, pastor of Compassion Church in Sikeston, MO, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
Pallbearers will be Tony Chism, Corey Bedwell, Jacob Tumbleson, Nehemiah Williams, Jeremy Dalton and Reid Avery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Neider,Tim Godlove and Dave Williams.
Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
