Terry Don Farris was born on September 19, 1955 in Paris, TX. His loving mother and father, Willie B. and Bobbie Jean Farris raised him and his brother, Willie Gene. He graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport, LA, where he played his favorite sport, football.
Terry Don worked for Bearing Services and Supply for over 40 dedicated years. He made many lifelong friends during his time working. He was an avid sports fan, never missing an LSU or Saints game. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. Terry Don took every opportunity to fish or play a game of golf.
Most of all, Terry Don was a loving a devoted father. He and Michele raised two beautiful children together, Chelsea and Tyler. He was always at every beauty pageant or sporting event to show his support to his kids. Terry Don passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Left to cherish the precious memories of Terry Don are his mother, Bobbie Jean Morgan Farris, his daughter, Chelsea Farris, his son, Tyler Farris, as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie B. Farris, brother, Willie Gene Farris, maternal grandparents, Elbert and Essie Morgan and paternal grandparents, Henry and Belle Farris.
A visitation for Terry will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM.
