Robert "Roy" Miller was born on April 22, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Robert M. "R.M." Miller and Helen G. Miller. After graduating high school, he honorable served his country in the United States Marines Corp. Roy retired from Preferred PMI Materials as a Truck Driver. During his career he received many awards for Millions Safe Miles of service.
Roy had a huge personality. He had a catchphrase for everything. His passion in life was riding motorcycles. He loved his Harley Davidson. He was a dedicated member of the Northwest Louisiana Patriot Guard Riders, where he served families with respect. He considered all the riders his family especially his Ride Captains, Louis and Glenda McGinty. Roy enjoyed attending MC rallies, sharing meals with his cousins, David and Lari, and getting together with his "Harley" family, Dan and Kathy, Karl and Cindy and Gary and Tina. Most of all, he adored his family and friends.
Roy passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 surrounded by his family at the age of 77 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is now reunited with his parents, sister, Mary Lou Miller, half sister, Loretta Lee Mauldin and his grandson, Jacob M. Doyle.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Carol Ann Miller; daughter, Ann Marie Miller; son, Robert E. Miller and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Callie Doyle, Will Miller and Ian Miller; great grandchildren, Lucas Doyle; and sister, Helen Miller; along with numerous extended family members and countless friends.
