Marilyn Ann Fox

Shreveport, LA – Services for Mrs. Marilyn Ann Fox, 78, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Brian Opbroek. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Marilyn was born on October 9, 1934, in Poteau, OK and passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012. She married her husband of 52 years, Bobby Lee Fox, in Oswego, KS on December 10, 1959. Oswego was also where Marilyn taught elementary music and high school french for five years before moving to Louisiana. She and her husband both enjoyed singing in the Shreveport Community Church Choir and participating in “Songs of the Season”.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Juanita (Norris) Preddy; infant son, James Edward Fox; and brother-in-law, Bill Fox. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Fox; sister-in-law, Barbara Glover and husband, Dan; brothers-in-law, Derrell Fox, Harold Fox and wife, Clydia.

Honoring Mrs. Fox as pallbearers are Sidney Grimes, Dan Glover, George Methvin, and Terrill Methvin.
