Krysta Nicole Patten

Services to celebrate the life of Krysta Nicole Patten, 24, will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2023, at Jamestown Primitive Baptist Church in Jamestown, LA. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Krysta Nicole was born on December 15, 1998, in Minden, LA. Krysta was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, niece and aunt whom had a love of animals, especially horses. Krysta had a smile that could light a room and an attitude out of this world. Our beautiful, shy and yet so outgoing girl, enjoyed riding four wheelers, fishing, and sharing lots of laughs with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Annaliyah Freeman, Brenleigh Freeman and Halsleigh Freeman, all of Castor, LA; her mother, April Patten Hammett; dad, Nathan Hammett of Jamestown, LA; father, Casey Litton; grandmother, Donna Woodard of Arcadia, LA; Krysta’s “person” and father of her children, Harley Freeman of Castor, LA; siblings, Kimberly Patten of Jamestown, LA, Kade Hammett and wife Alexis of Benton, LA, Kloie Hammett and fiancé Draven Vise of Jamestown, LA, Koletyn Hammett of Castor, LA, Kaleb Hammett and fiancé Karol of Castor, LA; uncles and aunts, Shanna Litton of Minden, LA, Aaron Litton, Ryne Litton, Keith Hammett and wife Charlene of Jamestown, LA, Ronnie Cobb and wife Danielle of Holly Ridge LA, Michelle Perot and husband Chad of Jamestown, LA, Jason Cobb and wife Angelee of Mebane, NC, Brittany Peevy and fiancé Cody Teague of Minden, LA, Charlie Patten and wife Jo Ann of Kingman, KS, Stephanie Keeton of Castor LA, Natasha Sanders of Arcadia, LA, Jennifer Hoines and husband Joel of Bellingham, WA, and Kassa Willingham from Haleyville, AL; nieces, Knoxley and Evelyn; nephews, Kayden, Kyrie, Maddox, Memphis, and Maverick as well as numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Krysta is preceded in death by her grandfather, Terry Wayne Litton of Ringgold, LA.

Pallbearers are Koletyn Hammett, Kaleb Hammett, Draven Vise, Mason Harper, Harley Freeman, Aaron Litton, Dylan Burnett, and Kade Hammett. Honorary pallbearers are Kayden Patten, Kyrie Patten, and Noah Litton.

Special thanks to her aunt and second momma, Shanna Litton, for all her help and support in this difficult time, and also to Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home for going above and beyond in taking care of our girl with such compassion.
