Our hearts are heavy as we share your pain in the loss of Uncle Kenny.  He truly was a special man and my mind is filled with so many good memories of him as I was growing up.  He will be missed.  
We pray that as you learn to live life without him that God will give you comfort and strength and fill you with His peace and unfailing grace. When you become too weary to travel this part of your journey, know that He will carry you and will give you the rest and comfort that you need to continue on.  He is faithful.

Ken worked for my Family and I as one of the first salesmen we hired at South States, now HDW. He was a valued and loyal employee. Louie would sometimes get annoyed with Ken, but Ken would always lighten the mood with a joke, or a saying from his time in Castor.
He learned his craft well, and will be missed.

Kenny, Clara and I offer our heart felt condolences for the lost of your Dad. I know you and he were real close and I am sure he will be missed greatly by you and Donna. You and your family will be in our prayers. I always was glad to see your dad when he would came into the store and he always had a question about a part or a appliance as a joke and I would always give him a crazy answer which he would a good laugh from. We will not be able to come to the viewing because I have been fighting the flu all week and it has just about to put me into the hospital and I sure don't want to go there! I will always remember Ken with fondness, and a smile. He worked with my Family off and on for many years at South States, Inc., now HDW, Inc.
My Father would get annoyed with Ken when he was teaching him to sell, but that feeling always faded quickly as Ken listened and learned. And Ken always changed the mood with a joke or country quote from Castor.
We will always remember him.

   Ken was a good friend of mine.I work at stine lumber in Natchitoches and every Friday for the past 7 or 8 years
 he would come to see if we needed anything.He has helped me alot over the years and we had some of the best conversations.I will miss him dearly and my friday's will never be the same.My condolences go out to his family.feel comfort in knowing he was loved by many and will be truley missed.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Kenneth Bishop our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Kenneth.   And to Kenneth it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country while serving in the U.S. Air Force.  Kenneth, we bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

Ken was a good friend, and I'm sadden by his death.  Unfortunately, I can't make it to the visitation or services because I had surgery today.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember him always smiling, laughing and telling jokes to all of the teenagers that would hang out at your house. He made everyone feel at home. I pray for your comfort as your hearts are breaking. Love to you all and God Bless your family.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. We will miss Kenneth, his smile that was always there when you walked into a room.  His corny jokes that made us laugh and his love for his family. May you be surrouded by peace during this time of  loss.

Ken was a great believer in laughter and jokes.  In his younger years he drove "rattle-traps" and it was nothing to see his car with 2 or 3 flats on it at the same time.  He was so used to it that if you told him he had a flat, he just say he'd go fix it in a minute.  He was a good friend, sympathetic listener.  He always let me be "right" in every discussion, no matter how wrong I was.  My condolences to the family and he will be missed, but he has left all of us a heart full of laughter.

My sincerest condolences to the Bishop family. Ken was a good person and I always enjoyed talking and dealing with him.
