James "Bubba" Ralph Gamble III

SHREVEPORT, LA – Funeral services celebrating the life of James Ralph “Bubba” Gamble III, age 61, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Centuries Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Reverend Danny Moffett will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

James was born on June 24, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to James R. Gamble, Jr. and Corene Cryer. He passed away on July 23, 2013 in Shreveport, LA

He was the best father and brother in the world, as well as, the funniest. He loved to party and dance and loved his grandchildren dearly.

James sister, Mary Sprawls, precedes him in death.

He is survived by his parents, Corene Cryer and James R. Gamble, Jr.; step-parents, Leo Cryer and Betty Gamble; his son, Justin Gamble; his daughters, Jena Gamble Johnson and Summer Black; his sisters, Margaret Koch, Kathy Lambert, step-sister, Debbie Jenes; step-brother, Robbie Johnson; eight grandchildren; nephew, Michael Veuleman and his beloved dog, Sharpay.
