Christy Lyn Parker, 49 died unexpectedly January 23, 2020. Christy has had many struggles during her life starting with infancy. During the last three years, her health has rapidly declined. It’s so hard to comprehend we will never see her again on this earth. The only peace I find is knowing she is in the arms of Jesus. Standing at the gates of heaven, her grandparents eagerly welcomed Christy, especially her grandpa who was especially devoted to her.
Left to cherish fond memories of Christy are her mother, Dianne Walker (Gordon); dad, Rickie Parker (Judy); sister, Shannon Allison (Tracy); and nieces, Baylee Allison and Ainsley Allison.
Preceding Christy in death are her maternal grandparents, Jim and Rosemary Anders; and paternal grandmother, Thelma Parker.
Rest in peace my sweet girl. You are deeply loved.
A visitation for Christy will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA 71108, with a graveside service in the Kinkade Room at Centuries following the visitation at 2:00 PM.
