Charlotte Hughes

Charlotte Moffett Hughes, 78, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Charlotte was born May 15, 1944 in Many, Louisiana to John and Ruby Moffett. Charlotte was a merchandiser for J.C. Penny for many years.

Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She enjoyed gardening and crafting. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Dylan English.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis D. Hughes, Sr.; daughter Kimberly English (Joe); son, Lewis D. Hughes, Jr.; grandchildren, Daryn (Dylan) and Jake English, Lewis D. III (Brittany), Amber (Curtis) and Colby (Amanda); great grandsons, Adrian Gelpi, Kingsley and Ronan English.

A Celebration of Life Graveside service for Charlotte will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
