Billy Joe Roberts Sr., age 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday April 2, 2019. He was born July 10, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to George William Roberts and Annie Mercedes Stevens Roberts, and grew up in Coushatta, Louisiana.
Mr. Billy loved golf and loved music. Billy was previously a member of Par 3 Golf Course in Shreveport, LA and Hyland Hills Golf Club in Westminster, CO.
Billy is survived by his children Helen Melissa Roberts, Billy Joe Roberts Jr. and Vicky Pena, Micheal and Kim Roberts, Kerry and Tim Youngblood, Carlette Banks, grandchildren Jeramie Roberts, Dakota Roberts, Dillon Youngblood, Madison Roberts, his girlfriend Joanne Smith of Shreveport and her family Ronnie Smith, Vicky and Donnie Bickham, Amber and James Johnson, Jason and Karen Smith, Ashley and Jeff Obermeyer, Jayden Obermeyer, Katelyn Obermeyer, Kenzie Obermeyer, Aiden Smith, and Gage Smith.
Billy leaves behind several family members and close friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Mr. Billy's honor to the American Cancer Society.
