

Hal was born April 13, 1911 to Julius and Clara (Nigbor) Hennig.
A native of Madison, WI, Hal attended Madison schools and the University of Wisconsin. He married the former Marjorie K. Rasmussen and the couple made their home in Madison. Hal was a professional musician and managed the Instrument Department of the Ward Brodt Music Company. He later played with his own band in the midwest.
In 1945, he and his family moved to Wausau where he established his own music business. He became a sales engineer for Wausau Motor Parts Company. Following retirement in 1974, he and his wife moved to Sheboygan to make their home. Marjorie preceded him in death on August 11, 2000.
Mr Hennig was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Sheboygan Falls, past member of the Wausau Curling and Country Clubs, and the Society of Automotive Engineers. Hal loved golfing, fishing, cooking, gardening and upholstering.
Harold is survived by four daughters: Claire Koperski of Minneapolis, Susan (Larry) Hansen of Antioch, IL, Margo (Ken) Noworatzky of Sheboygan, and Kim (Charles) Berg of Bristol, WI; a brother Jack (Dorothy) Hennig of Michigan, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Bill and Sis Duehholm, Gail Pierce, Pat Ryan, Monica Virant and many church friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11:00am at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Sheboygan Falls, by Rev. Samuel Nsengiyumva, Rector. Interment will take place in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church, 104 Elm St.., on Friday from 10:00 until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated for the memorial fund established for Hal’s favorite charities.
