Wanda was born in Altus Oklahoma October 2, 1934 to Bonnie Belle and Johnny Vinsonhaler. She was raised by Bonnie and R T Ailey. She graduated from Altus High School before moving to Shawnee where she met Melvin Ray Taylor and married him on June 6th 1954. She graduated from Lamar University with a bachelor of fine arts and an elementary education degree. She and Melvin started their marriage living in Shawnee. They welcomed their first child Carolynn Kaye Taylor on August 29th 1957 and then then I. 1963 they adopted their second child Kimberly Daniella Taylor at birth. They moved many times and also lived in Norman, Ardmore, Edmond, Lawton and Oklahoma City. They moved to Houston Texas in 1970 and then to Port Neches in 1974 and then finally back to Shawnee Oklahoma in 1979 where they stayed. Wanda was active in Beta Sigma Phi for many years and in her later years was a proud member of the VFW women’s Auxiliary until her health stopped her. She lived at Primrose Assisted Living Center and then her final 2 years at the Nursing home in Waurika. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Melvin Taylor (who was a saint). She is survived by her eldest daughter Kaye Hare and grandchild Karen and her husband Rickey Chrochet and great grandaughter Rachel Chrochet of Tyler Texas and granddaughter Deaux Hare and great grandaughter Bella Hare of Port Neches Texas. Kim Gomez of Waurika and granddaughter Kassie Bohot and husband Bryce Bohot and great grandsons Brycenn, Gavin, Ronnie J and Bray Bohot and great granddaughter Brooks Belle and Barron Von Trump in the oven.
