Robert “Z Bandit” Helms, 67, of Shawnee passed away March 19, 2019. He was born May 14, 1951 in Shawnee to Marvin and Mildred Helms.
Robert was a man who loved helping others in any way he could. He loved spoiling his grandson, Jace. He enjoyed keeping a nice yard and gardening banana trees. “Z Bandit”, as he was known by his friends, went to many car shows and won several awards with his Camaro, The Z Bandit.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jamie Jackson and her husband, Bart; grandson, Jace Jackson; and his cat, Blackie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Larry and Ronnie Helms; and one grandson, Jude Robert Jackson.
A graveside service will be held, 11:00 am, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
