She was born to Arthur and Mabel Irene Collins in Decatur, Illinois on March 11, 1933. She had four brothers and eight sisters.
She married Arthur E. Bell on July 2, 1950, and had four sons.
Mamie and Arthur attended Immanuel Baptist Church where they were active members of the ordinance committee and the Jesus Heirs.
She loved working with children and worked at several daycares and Mother’s Day Out programs until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arthur; her parents; four brothers; eight sisters; two granddaughters, and one grandson.
She is survived by her four sons: Bob and wife, Jean Bell of Yorba Linda, CA; Mike and wife, Kelly Bell of Paola, KS; Steve and wife, Lynn Bell of Menifee, CA; and Dwayne Bell of the home; six grandsons; six granddaughters; twelve great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mamie will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801.
