Kathryn R Neiden

Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a faithful church worker who was willing to do anything to help. She enjoyed painting pictures, cooking and baking. Kathryn was a hairdresser for over 40 years and also helped her husband, Kay, do farm work. She loved telling and making up stories for her grandchildren, playing games with family, traveling the U.S. with our Dad in their motorhome and wrote many poems.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Vickie Ellen Bair, Marilyn Kay Rhoads (Mark), and Donna Lynn Riley (Don); grandchildren: Teri L. Bair, Brett A. Bair, Brook L Farris, Lesli D. Blazer, Scott D. Slovacek, and Ryan M. Riley; 14 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Kay E. Neiden; grandson, Jamey D. Riley; and son-in-law, W.A. Bair.

A visitation for Kathryn will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 39307 W MacArthur St, Shawnee, OK 74804. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund.
