He was born June 15, 1966 in Shawnee to Bessie Lewis.
When he was able to work, he worked in road construction and also owned his own business, Honest John’s Lawn and Care Service. Flint was a long time member of Hart Street Full Gospel Church.
Flint married the love of his life, Mary Lewis, on October 23, 1983. Together they raised 4 children. He was not a people person and preferred to stay at home, but he loved he wife, children, and grandchildren and would do anything for them. Mary dedicated her life to taking care of Flint when most people would say they just couldn’t do it. He had a great sense of humor, was blunt and honest, and always hollering, “Mary, where’s my Copenhagen!?” He was greatly loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
Flint was preceded in death by his sister, Allie Mobbs.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Spurlin; children, Jessica Vierra, Crystal Harryman, Gaylon Spurlin, and Priscella Spurlin; grandchildren, Hailey Smith, Carmella Ringwald, MaKayla Vierra, Makenzie Ringwald, Braden Spurlin, Adrianya Ortega, Xadrian Vierra, Ethan Smith, Brooklyn Harryman, David Smith, Amber Vierra, Shawna Vierra, Journee Stalnaker, and Joseph Smith; mother, Bessie Lewis; siblings, Delton Spurlin, Letha Cox, Dorothy Gerber, and Sheila Spurlin; best friend, Jude Sena; a host of other family members and friends.
