Cory graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2000 and had some post-secondary education. He was most recently employed as a poker dealer at the Grand Casino.
Cory never met a stranger and within ten minutes, you were a good friend of his. He was very outgoing and had many amazing friends who loved him dearly. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, go four wheeling, listening to music with friends, the Nebraska Huskers, and talking about sports. Cory was amazing at baseball and football. Cory adored his son, Nolan, to pieces and loved to watch him play ball. His son Nolan was the light of his life and his greatest accomplishment.
He is survived by his Father Gary Ozeretny of Tecumseh, Mother Trudy Ozeretny (Price) of Shawnee, Son Nolan Ozeretny of Shawnee, Brother Todd Marquis of Seminole, Brother Leland Konechney and wife Tabitha of Harrah, Sister Kimberly Marquis of Shawnee, and Sister Charmain Webb and husband Chris of Shawnee.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Jerry and Pat Ozeretny, and maternal grandparents Clyde and Mary Kate Rockwell.
