Robert Lee Mackey

Funerals services will be on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at noon with burial to follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens Cemetery in Shawnee, KS. A visitation will be from 10am to noon, January 16. Bob was born June 9, 1954 in Kansas City, MO to Sam and Lila Mackey. He was married to his wife Shellee for 42 years. Bob retired from the Kansas Gas Service after more than 20 years of service. In his retirement he enjoyed watching his two youngest grandchildren during the day. His hobbies were woodworking, investing in the stock market, and attending his grandkids activities.

Bob is preceded in death by his father Sam Mackey, mother and step-father Lila and Arnold Loomis, and infant grandchildren Landon and Jax Janssen.

Survivors include his wife Shellee Mackey, three daughters, Deanna and Scott Janssen; Cynthia and Lonnie Roark; and Christine and Jeffrey Trowbridge, five grandchildren, Emillee and Tyler Janssen; Aiden and Cole Trowbridge, and Eli Roark as well as two sisters; one brother and one step-brother.
