Lisa Ann Smith

Lisa was born December 27, 1963 in Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter of Jimmy Barnes and Dorothy Mullis Barnes. She loved her husband Don and children very much and showed it in the kind ways she took care of them. She and Don had a strong bond and a love like no other. Lisa would always put Don and her family before others. Her spunky personality was the backbone of the home and she made sure everyone was always taken care of. Her hobbies included making stained glass in her shop, being crafty, and working in her flower beds. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bynum Barnes.

Survivor include her father, Jimmy Barnes and wife Madge; mother, Dorothy Mullis Barnes; her husband, Don Smith of the home; two daughters, Crysti Cannon and husband Patrick of Supply and Jessica Smith and Sam Pace of Shallotte; five grandchildren, Richard Stumblingbear, Abigail Hargrove, Kyle Hargrove, Abram Cannon, and Jullian Pace; sister, Rhonda Shook; three nieces; and one nephew.

A Celebration of Life will be at four o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church.
