James Ronald White

He was born in Ridgeway, Va. to Roy Lance and Mary Ida White. He went to Drewry Mason High School in Ridgeway and worked as a painter at Coca-Cola in Charlotte, NC for years then was a trailer mechanic until he retired to Sunset Beach, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother Ida and father Roy “Buck” White , his sisters, Sally Bryan, and Betty Wingfield and brother Michael White.

Survivors include his wife, Connie White; his daughters, Ginger Maher (Brian), Jamie Fox (David), a son, Larry Riddle; grandchildren, Collin and Alec McCullough, Tyler, Eric and AJ Fox and Bryson and Madison Riddle, Sydney and Will Farnsworth; step children Morgan Griffith, Jennifer Farnsworth (Bill), and Jeffrey Boyles; sisters Mary Sutton and Janet Carter; brother RW White; and Winston Beasley who was like a son to him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 27, 2024 at 1:00PM at Greene Funeral Services West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
