Jack Ruben Hardin

He was born on October 25, 1927 in Rutherford County, NC. The son of the late, Worth Hardin and Pattie Henson Hardin also was preceded in death by his two sisters, Marie Porter and Myrtice Harrill; three brothers, Jim Hardin, Hoyle Hardin and Bill Hardin.

Mr. Hardin was a member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Carol B. Hardin of the home; a son Mike Hardin and his wife, Betty of Loris, SC; two grandchildren, Brad Hardin and his wife, Sherrie and Cliff Hardin and his wife, Jessica; three great-grandchildren, Jake Hardin, James Hardin and Xi Hardin all of GA.

A celebration of his life will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday January 19, 2019 in Old Shallotte Baptist Church with Pastor Rory Thigpen officiating.
