Gail was born September 27, 1948 in Brunswick County, daughter of the late Lawrence Moore and Virginia Halks Moore. She raised her daughters as a single parent yet provided for all their needs. Her greatest accomplishment was making sure they grew into successful adults. Gail had a heart of gold and would always lend a helping hand to anyone that was fortunate enough to cross her path. She enjoyed reading and would tell her family they could travel anywhere through the pages of a book. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and anything outdoors. Gail loved her Lord and Savior and became a member of the Georgia Mountain Tres Dias Community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Esther Bender; five brothers, Arden Moore, Raybon Moore, Jerry Moore, Patrick Moore, and Johnny Moore; and son-in-law, Milton Williams.
Survivors include her loving daughters, Patty Dennis of Charleston, South Carolina, Annette Williams of Ocean Isle Beach, and Dana Greene of Calabash; one brother, Chester Moore of Holden Beach; three grandchildren, Bene' Dockery and husband Brandon, Sheena Green and husband Alex, and Heather Greene; three great grandchildren, Celia Quinn Dockery, Jane Eden Dockery, and William Jasher Dockery; two sons-in-law, Jim Roberts and Chris Greene; and two special neighbors, Marsha Caison and Darrell Talbott.
