Maria Soliz

Maria Quintanilla Soliz of Seguin, TX was born in Fisher, Co. on June 27, 1928 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 20, 2010 at the age of 82. Maria is survived by her only son, Gilbert M. Soliz and wife Nellie; granddaughters, Patricia Gomez and husband Samuel, Jr., Sandra Serna and husband David, III, and Jennifer Lopez and husband William, Jr.; great grandchildren, Stephanie Castillo Gunter and husband Joe, Jr., Alexander Soliz, Jacob Soliz, Eric Soliz, K’Lynn Serna, Tristan Hernandez, Evan Lopez and Jaden Lopez; great-great granddaughters, Ariana and Ryleigh Gunter; sisters, Celia Rodriguez, Angelina Quintanilla and Juanita Gloria Ortega; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emiterio Soliz; parents, Rafael and Carmen Quintanilla; brother, Roberto Quintanilla; and sister, Guadalupe Quintanilla. A visitation will be held in the Goetz Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 4-9 PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00AM with interment to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
