Had no idea of his passing, great man, father and husband, always joking, with warm smile . ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

The Valente Family,  I did not know Mr. Valente very well but he and I met at Hackensack Hospital. I helped take care of him, the short time that he was with me.  His wife is such a beautiful person, she had so much love for him. It was such a pleasure to meet and take care of Mr. Valente. When I heard of his passing, I was sadden by the news. 

My sincere  condolences to the Valente family. May he rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of my long time friend.  Sam and I were OLG classmates and he was the kindest, caring gentle person I ever knew.  When I was stricken with polio he was one of only classmates that reached out to me and spent time with me during my recovery.  While the news of his passing was so sad all of the kindnesses he showed during his lifetime were remembered!  Sam and classmate, Joan, will never know how grateful all of the OLG classmates are for organizing the class reunions at Redd's Restaurant.  My sympathies to his wife and family for their loss.  I will always remember the smile on his face and the spirit of love and happiness he conveyed to everyone around him.  He will always be  in my prayers.  Michael

Sam, I am so glad we had the opportunity to work together at Mulberry. I can recall how gracious you were in welcoming me to the Mulberry family in 2009 and how often you made it easy for me to get started with my new job and how you were always willing to help me and the customer with any issues and questions. 

We had many good times and good lunches with the guys, Bruce, Gerry, Bill,  Bob, Lenny, Dick, Gary, Dick T and Pat, and with gals Kris, Karen, Sandy, Patricia, Nancy and others. You will be missed by all.

I am Sad to see you leave us, but I know the Good Lord will have you in the comfort of his hands forever, Rest in Peace Sergio

I'll always remember Sam and I having "scooped out" bagels every other morning at Mulberry. He was good friend and confidant to me.

Sammy was a friend to all who knew him.   He was a family man and devoted husband.  May he Rest In Peace and may god bless Pat and her children as they moarn his passing

Dear Pat and family, Sam and I grew up in Hoboken and went to Demarest High School together in the 60s. He was one of the kindest friends we we were lucky enough to have in our teen years. After many years of living our lives in separate worlds we connected again during our class reunions. It was then we shared our personal treasures; Sam's fine winery and my cookbook dedicated to my mama. I shared his photos of the wine making and the marriage of your son on my blog. It was such a pleasure to connect with him and share your beautiful life and family. Thank you for that. You and your family have our blessings and prayers. God bless Sam and your family.
