Frank J. Savino, 94, a lifelong resident of Secaucus for 88 years passed away on May 4, 2016. He worked for Emerson Electric for many years and was a WWII Veteran of the US Army Signal Corp, where he served under Gen. Patton in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, and Central Europe. Frank was also very involved with The Boy Scouts of America in Secaucus for many years.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9-11 am. Funeral services are being conducted by the Mack Memorial Home, (www.mackmemorialhome.com), 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday at 11am. followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.
Frank is predeceased by his parents Vincent and Madeline, his wife Mary (nee Della Rocca); sisters, Isabelle and Frances; brothers, Richard, Michael, Joseph, and Patrick. He is survived by his nephews, Robert, Vincent and Gustav; niece, Madeline; several great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews. In lue of flowers donations may be made in his honor to a charity of your choice.
