Susan was born on December 23rd, 1945 in Tacoma to Bruce and Helyne Holliday. The first family home was in Cedar River, Renton, Washington. The family eventually moved to the Mount Baker Neighborhood where Susan attended Mount Virgin Elementary School and graduated from Franklin High School.
After graduation, Susan met Dennis, married and had two stellar boys. Dennis and Susan moved to Mountlake Terrace where Susan would stay for many years. Susan made her career as an office manager, working for several companies before settling at Hansen Brothers.
Susan tried her hands at ceramics and quickly realized it was her passion. Susan realized ceramics would be her artistic and social outlet. Susan's sister and Susan's close friends spent hours in her garage with their ceramics developing tremendous works of art as well as great friendships.
Susan also found a love for Hawaii when her parents introduced her to the islands in the mid 1980s. Susan would travel to the islands every year to meet with friends and family and enjoy herself in the tropical paradise.
Susan rescued a wonderful yellow lab from the Humane Society. Jake would become pride and joy and she loved him very much.
Susan's friends and family will miss her. She will remain in their hearts and memories forever with love and laughter.
