She was born on June 30th, 1929 in Grandview, WA the daughter of Leroy and Eunice Wisner. Sally grew up in Yakima, WA the sixth of seven children. She attended Seventh Day Adventist Christian School where she met her adoring husband, Richard Arlen Weaver. Sally pledged her life to Jesus at an early age and carried that faith with her throughout life.
On June 30th, 1948 (her 19th birthday) she married Richard, her high school sweetheart, and together they enjoyed almost 69 years of marriage. The couple moved from the Yakima area in 1958 and resided in Lake Forest Park until shortly before Sally’s passing.
Sally was a great cook, hostess, and enjoyed baking. She tended to her roses with great care and she had many varieties. Sally had a great love for music and in her youth she sang at her church. Most of all she loved her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved and cherished her family beyond measure. Her kindness and smile touched many lives and she will be greatly missed.
Sally is survived by her husband Richard, her sister Phyllis, her brother, Max, her daughter Shelly and son-in-law Jerry, grandchildren Angie (Jim), Carrie (Sean), Evan, Nathan, Jacob (Susana), Brandon and Samantha, and nine great-grandchildren,
Zach, Molly, Finley, Thomas, Sally, Wesley, Olivia, Violet and Elijah. Her sons, Rick and Jeff Weaver, precede her in death.
