Richard Westerman died peacefully on August 14, 2022 in Bellevue Washington at the age of 87 years.
He was born to Wilda and Cecil Westerman in Seattle, Washington and had an older sister Helen Anne.
Richard was an avid angler and sailor and was at his happiest sailing through the San Juan’s in his Catalina 22’. He was a self-taught master of building and fixing things. He devoted many years to coaching youth baseball and soccer and many will remember him behind his video camera recording cross country races, soccer games and even friends' weddings.
He is survived by his three sons, Christopher, Matthew and Jonathan and 7 Grandchildren.
