Napoleon M. Mendoza, 84 of Redmond, Washington, left us peacefully on September 30th, with his loving wife by his side. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Napolean, or “Nap,” will always be known for his love of war and cowboy movies, his passion to build goods, his ambition to grow tomatoes and care for as many plants as he possibly can.
Nap began his life on August 16, 1940, born in the beautiful province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines, he was the second oldest child of Felipe Sr and Gregoria Micor. Nap grew up in a loving home with eight other siblings.
On August 22, 1968, Nap Married the love of his life, Maria Leonen. The two shared a loving marriage that lasted 56 years and have four children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Nap is survived by his Wife, Maria Mendoza, and children, Rommel Mendoza, Ronald Mendoza, Ryan Mendoza and Racquel Hampton.
A viewing service for Nap will be held on Thursday, November 14th from 2pm to 7pm at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home in Seattle. A Mass service will be held on Friday, November 15th, 11am at St. Louise Church in Bellevue. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help alleviate any unnecessary financial burden.
