Lee Lynn Griffith, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on August 24, 1939 in Toledo, Washington. Lee lived a life full of love, humor, and adventure. His journey through life touched the hearts of many, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and generosity.
Lee earned a bachelor's degree in forestry from the University of Washington and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
Lee had many passions in life, from his love of trains, photography, genealogy, sports, and a love of the great outdoors.
Lee is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Carol Louis Bro; his children, Linda Griffith Baines and Glen Griffith; his sister Christy Breithaupt Pettit; and his brothers Mathias Breithaupt and David Breithaupt. He is also remembered fondly by his grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Josephine Snyder.
Lee’s love, laughter, and enduring spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A graveside service for Lee will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133.
