Kathleen Ruth Clark

Kathleen “Kitty” Ruth Clark, 91, was born on July 18,1929 in Seattle, Washington to the late Fillmore and Ruth (Wing) Clark and passed away on November 17, 2020. Beloved sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend, Kitty graduated from West Seattle High School in 1947 and called West Seattle home for all of her years. Her professional career was in the insurance business, last working in the property/casualty departments of Dougan, Eader, Reynolds and Wheller Insurance Agency and Aon Corporation. She was a birder, rock hound, lover of all animals and people and a world traveler with her best friend, Joanne Garrity. Her West Seattle neighborhood has lost its last founding member and its best ambassador.

A memorial service for Kitty will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on December 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her most loved Fauntleroy Church (9140 California Ave Southwest, Seattle, 98136, UCC.org), Seattle Humane Society (13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, 98005, seattlehumane.org), the Seattle Audubon Society (8050 35th Ave NE, Seattle 98115, seattleaudubon.org or any animal rescue organization of your choice.
