Age 90, passed away in Everett, WA on June 8, 2013. She was born in Tacoma, WA to John M. and Nora Agnes Mirenta on March 5, 1923. She graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, Class of 1941. While employed at Boeing during WWII, Gloria met her future husband, George. The two wed in Seattle on March 1, 1944. In 1985, Gloria retired from her position as the Athletic Travel Coordinator at the University of Washington. Husky sports remained a passion that she shared with George, always by her side, rooting for all the teams. She had a zest for life which kept her active traveling in the motor home, enjoying casino trips, playing Bridge and Pinochle and socializing with family and friends. Gloria is preceded in death by the love of her life, best friend, and husband of 68 years, George H. Budlow and oldest daughter, Georgia Ann Law. She leaves behind her daughters, Gayle (Phillip) Jones and Gerri Roberts; son-in-law, Richard Law; 4 grandchildren, Stephani Seitz, Michael Law, Steve Roberts, and Sean Roberts; 7 great grandchildren; and many loving extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 14th at the Lago de Plata Clubhouse, 620 112th St. S.E., Everett, WA from 2-4PM.
