Frank is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Guthrie, and two boys, Payton and Jayce, his Mother, Kay Guthrie, sisters Janice Coe (Mitch) Terri Weintraub (Bob) and his many nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his father Dr. Frank “Burns” Guthrie.
Frank was born on September 5, 1963 in Seattle, Washington to Burns and Kay Guthrie. At 14 years of age he earned the award of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Shorecrest High School class of 1981 and went on to attend the University of Washington where he graduated with a degree in Communications in 1987. Frank worked at Arrow Electronics for 27 years.
Frank was a great family man, a loving father, son, and a loyal friend. He married Gayle Inslee on June 9, 1995. Frank and Gayle were active participants in their community, their boys’ education, sports teams and Boy Scouts. He was a very social, active man who was involved in coaching youth baseball, a Cub Master for Boy Scouts of America, cheering on his family and the entire team in all the events that they participated in, and fishing with his friends. Frank’s family and friends will always remember his passions for golfing, volleyball, fishing, camping and always, story and joke telling. Frank brought joy into the lives of all that knew him. He will be deeply missed.
