Our loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, auntie, mother-in-law, and friend went to Heaven on April 27, 2022 to be with her husband Ken and daughter Lynda.
She was a fabulous cook and always made beautiful appetizers for our family holiday meals. She loved spending time at the cabin on Hood Canal surrounded by family. She listened to her favorite country music artist George Strait and even went to one of his live concerts as a Christmas gift. She loved decorating for Halloween, Easter, and especially Christmas and enjoyed years of watching people slowly drive by her home sparkling so bright with lights; they could be seen from space. Her yard decor was so elaborate, the photos made it into the local newspapers. That always made her happy. She loved birds. Feeding them and watching them became an enjoyable pastime. She was also an avid flower person. She grew many types of extraordinary tulips and other flowers. In the 70’s and 80’s she worked for NWA in the flight kitchen creating 1st class hors d-oeuvres for their international flights. Late in life, she met up with her friends at the local senior centers for lunches, dinners, and gatherings.
In her final months, she was comforted and cared for by her daughter Barbara.
She is survived by her daughter Donna (son-in-law Lorre); daughter Barbara; sister Pat; grandchildren Jodi, Alex, and Eric; great grandchildren Shailah, Jesse, Hailey, Harper, Harrison, and Oliver; and great great granddaughter Evelynn.
