Ed Parker passed away in Seattle, WA on May 13, 2021 after a life well lived. Born to Samuel Edward Parker Sr. and Inez Parker (nee Little), in Harrisburg, IL on January 9, 1944. Ed enlisted in the US Army and served in Vietnam, earning an honorable discharge in 1969. Ed’s travels took him to Seattle University where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and History. Ed soon began a career in publishing as a Sales and Marketing representative, developing new author talent, and in sheet music. Later in his career, Ed served as a Credit Counselor with the Consumer Credit Counseling, and then greatly expanding his volunteer work in music at Saint James Cathedral. Leisure pursuits included reading history, football and basketball. Ed was survived by his life partner, Phil Howrigan of Seattle and sister, Hedy Sadler of IL.

Please join Phil and Hedy in their happy memories of Ed in Sun Valley, his kindness to his coworkers and friends and his special care of Phil during recent medical experiences.
