Dave was loyal, hardworking, an excellent provider and lived by the golden rule.
He was a lifelong member of UA Local 32 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 59 years finishing his career working as a Sea/King Count Plumbing Inspector for 22 some years back.
He was strong, fair and a wise man.
A person of distinguished truthful candor and sensitivity to others.
A man’s man and a shy charmer with the ladies.
He was a diehard Mariners and Seahawks fan.
A good person who adored animals.
Dave was what most women hope their sons grow up to be, handsome, wise, strong, talented, and kind. He was all of this and more.
Dave possessed a work ethic and ingenuity that served him well. Skilled with his hands and mind, he spent a good deal of time over his long-life enjoying home building, remodeling and the constant small repairs that properties require. He took pride in his work and had a deep sense of integrity in everything he touched. His words were not many yet were good as gold.
He quietly spent weekends and vacations at his home at Mason Lake in the south of Puget Sound, enjoying the majesty of nature with a cup of hot coffee or a cold beer, or a glass of red wine.
Dave Thompson is loved by many. He touched many lives.
His family and friends will miss his smile, his laugh, the gleam in his blue eyes and his affection.
What a blessing to have had Dave in our lives. You are already deeply missed. You will always bring a smile to our hearts.
