Brenda Ann Frost

Brenda Ann was born on August 18, 1948, in Seattle, Washington, to the union of James and Willie Mae (Braswell) Wells; she was the sixth child of this union. As a teenager, her brother Curtis shares, "Brenda has always been a loving, caring, and devoted sister. Unbeknown to Brenda, I was being bullied in high school. I usually walked to school with my cousin Alfred, but I walked with my sister Brenda this particular day. Once we arrived at school, we separated and went to our respective classes. But to my surprise, I was faced with an encounter with a bully! As he approached me, I wasn't sure what to do! Suddenly, I was encircled by a crowd of kids who had gathered to watch a fight! I was alone and frightened. But suddenly, like the bible story of the Red Sea, the crowd opened up for the entry of …my sister, Brenda. Like a fierce protecting lioness, she enforced her roar of fear and disbursed the crowd to protect her brother; Brenda, my sister, stopped the bully."

Brenda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and dedicated her life to serving Him fully. As a member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple (aka 16th & Fir), Brenda sang in the church choir and participated in the church assemblies. She was passionate about music and sang in various groups and choirs where she taught, led, and directed; Brenda enjoyed every moment. She also joined the Garfield High School choir and dreamt of becoming an opera singer.

In 1966, Brenda graduated from Garfield High School and attended Seattle Central Community College.

In 1968 she married her high school sweetheart, George Frost. They had four beautiful children in this union: three handsome sons and one gorgeous daughter.

Brenda was a worshiper and loved to worship God, wholly and true. In 1984, George & Brenda accepted their spiritual calling to pastoring, and formed Christian Life Fellowship Center. Many lives were touched through this ministry. God ordained Brenda with a special anointed gift of prophecy. Through this gift, Brenda prophetically spoke God's words to the saints, resulting in generational chains of bondage to be removed, providing many with direction, enlightenment, strength, and encouragement. Prophetess Brenda walked courageously in the power and authority given by Jesus Christ, and she was not afraid to boldly confront the enemy or anyone being used by him. She was an author, playwright, visionary, director, and teacher to all. She has taught and trained many on how to understand, cultivate, and develop their gifts.

To know Brenda, you know that she deeply loved God, her husband, her children, grandchildren, godchildren, family, and friends. Brenda was an excellent cook and baker; infusing the smells of good ol’ southern cooking in her kitchen, assuring all that something good was brewing or baking. But it was her beautiful and infectious warm smile that would always light up a room at her entrance. Brenda had a voice of an angel. She was a prophetic prophetess, visionary, teacher, minister, mother, grandmother, godmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. As a proud and protective mother and Nana, she playfully called herself the "Barracuda and the Head Honcho" as she intentionally supported and nurtured her loved ones, ensuring that they all knew God and the gifts He had given them.

On October 19, 2014, Brenda married Frank E. Taylor. Together, they happily shared love and life.

Brenda was employed with the City of Seattle in the Human Services Department for several years, where she touched many souls.

On the evening of Saturday, May 5, 2022, Brenda was tired and asked her husband to hold her as she closed her eyes to rest. Brenda suffered a heart attack and took her last breath on Saturday, June 17, 2022. God's beautiful angel, and faithful servant, Brenda Ann Frost, peacefully transitioned this life to her heavenly home.

Brenda has lived a life of love and excellence, leaving many loved ones to cherish her memories. Her husband: Frank E. Taylor, and 4 children: Erika Rochell Frost, George Lavell (Christina) Frost, Omar Terrell (Janene) Frost, and Deshae Jimel Frost; 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Rutha Lee Braswell and Gloria Johnson. Brothers: Curtis (Karen) Wells and Gary Cooper. 6 nieces, 4 nephews, and goddaughter Cathie Reneé (Larry) Wilmore. She has shined her beautiful light on many friends, extended family members, and her church community. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, James, and Willie Mae Wells. Sisters: Gloria Jean Williams and Lillie Mitchell. Brother Eddie Wells and nephew Eddie Wells Jr.

To God be the glory for what He has done. You have fought a good fight, and you have finished your course.
