Steven was peacefully reunited with his family in heaven on August 20th, 2024 in Forney Texas, at the young age of 55. He now sits at the feet of his Eternal Father. Steve is in the company of his much loved daughter, Loren and step-daughter, Sarah. He is survived by his devoted Mother, Carol Mitchell and his Step-Dad, Micheal Mitchell. Left to grieve his precious memory and life, is his younger brother Scott Thrower and half brothers, Casey Thrower and Trenton Thrower and step-daughter, Stephanie; Along with grandchildren - Cambrie, Channer, and Layton.
His baptism took place many years ago (not in the traditional church setting) but in the waters of a nearby lake. Steven is preceded in death by his Dad, Carl Glenn Thrower. He is now reunited with his grandparents, R.E. (Pop) and Mary Spivey. Also, Carl and Mary Thrower. He also leaves behind numerous Aunts, Uncles, family and friends. He adored his girlfriend Peggy Warren, and even though their relationship was short, it was definitely heading towards the moon.
Steven was born on April 22, 1969 at Darnall Army Hospital in Killeen Texas. He attended grammar and high school in Mesquite Texas. His career consisted of over 30 years with Texas Pack Rail and Union Pacific Railroad as a crane operator. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan all his life. He was a gourmet cook and his kitchen was stocked with all the latest appliances and gadgets. Steven had recently moved on to baking, as well.
His passing will be mourned by everyone who knew him. Rest peacefully, our sweet Steven, we’ll catch up with you later.
A visitation for Steven will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
