Rodney Ray Ross

Graveside Services will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2022, 1:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, located at 318 Lanier Road in Combine, Texas with Pastor Melton Spears officiating.

Rodney was born on August 21, 1968, to Barbara and Willie Ross in Dallas, Texas. He was the younger brother to his sister, Rhonda and always let everyone know. Rodney loved life. He enjoyed being with his daughter, Michaela and his grandchildren, Aniya, Makenzie, and Jaida, who knew him as Pappy. He loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, fishing when he had time and working on home projects.

Rodney is preceded in death by his loving dog, Lucky, his father, Johnny Ray Ragsdale, his Grandparents, Harold and Virginia Stockton, his uncles, Gene and Michael Stockton, his aunt, Helen Harmon and his nephew, Christopher Maynard.

Rodney is survived by his mother and father Barbara and Willie Ross of Greenville, Texas, his sister Rhonda Robnett and husband Kenneth of Greenville, Texas, his daughter Michaela Ross and three grandchildren Aniya, Makenzie and Jaida of Greenville, Texas, Madean Ross of Greenville, Texas, his niece Kristina Maynard and spouse Michael of Celeste, Texas, his niece Keri Maynard of Caddo Mills, Texas, his great-nephews Chad Amico of Celeste, Texas and Slayden Massengale of Caddo Mills, Texas, his great-nieces Kaylei Maynard and Karyssa Pruett of Celeste, Texas, his uncle Bobby Stockton and wife Lisa of West Tawakoni, Texas, his aunt Betty and husband Bill Mahan of Rowlett, Texas, his aunt Brenda Stockton of Balch Springs, Texas, and his aunt Kathy Stockton of Bonham, Texas.
