Peyton Alyse Jones, of Crandall, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. She will always be remembered as an unbridled spirit who lived to make people laugh and was unashamed to be herself. She was a beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, and loyal friend. She was born on December 20, 2005, in Grapevine, Texas to Michael Jones and Tammy Turner.
Peyton was a Varsity Cheerleader for the State and National Champion Crandall High School Cheerleaders. She loved being with her team leading the crowd during Friday Night Lights, but she thrived on the competition of State and Nationals. She was known to bust many megaphones during performances. Her early training was in competitive cheer, and she loved tumbling with a passion. Over the years, she was a part of several competitive cheer teams, and she was truly blessed with a few coaches and team moms who became family and loved her fiercely.
Peyton is survived by her father, Michael Jones of Crandall, Texas, her mother and stepfather, Tammy and Troy Turner of Crandall, Texas, her siblings, Ryan Jones, Jordan Jones, Macie Turner, and Kayla Turner, all of Crandall, Texas, her maternal grandparents, R.B. and Ann Williams of Tyler, Texas, her paternal grandmother, Martha Jones of Tyler, Texas, her step-grandmother, Elaine Day (Bella) of Mabank, Texas, her aunts and uncles, LeAnn and Dean Estep of Cash, Texas, Kim Williams of Tyler, Texas, Todd and Dee Williams of Flint, Texas, Amy and Dale Tryon of Tyler, Texas, and Alan and Genifer Jones of Tyler, Texas, her cousins, Dustin and Kala Williams (Rhealynn and Parker) of Bullard, Texas, Erika Pipes (Eli) of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Bailey and Ryleigh Williams of Flint, Texas, Matthew, Zachary, and Joshua Tryon of Tyler, Texas, and Coby and Allison Jones of Tyler, Texas, along with many great friends who she claimed as family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Jones of Tyler, Texas, and her cousin, Noah Tryon of Tyler, Texas.
The visitation will be held at 1 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. on October 12, 2022 at Central Baptist Church in Crandall, Texas. Interment will follow a graveside service at Cathedral of the Pines Cemetery in Tyler, Texas on October 13, 2022 at 11 a.m.
