

Debra “Debbie” Lynn Bowen, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at her home in Balch Springs, TX. She was born to the late Alvin Earl Alford and Lillie Irene Alford on February 6, 1956. She is survived by two children, Tonya Taylor and husband Robert of Mesquite,TX, and Johnny Bowen and wife Shannon of Forney, TX; four grandchildren, Shelby, Alex, Nathan, and Shawn; six sisters and brother-in-laws, Kathy and Wesley O’Neal, Shirley and the late Jim Vaughn, Earlene and Joe Nabors, Brenda and Billy Don Redding, and Donna and Jack Cole; three aunts, Louise, Laverna, and Linda; many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own. Debbie grew up with four sisters that were her best friends and rarely did you see her without one of them. While she was the baby of the family she was the one that many confided in and relied on. She enjoyed anything that had to do with family whether it be holiday gatherings, casino trips, or the kid’s activities. Debbie spent most of her life being an amazing Mama to Tonya and Johnny; always there for whatever they needed whenever they needed it; and running a family business. She then became an even better Nana to the loves of her life, her grandkids. She loved with all her heart and everyone loved her, she will truly be missed by all of those that knew her. The visitation is from 9 AM until 11 AM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. Chapel service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM., followed by interment in the Garden of Scriptures, Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
